I hope everybody had a nice Christmas.. I did..I got some sweaters from mom and dad.. I also been good myself. I bought mom a new spaghetti pan and strainer.. She also can use it for steaming veggies.. Its like making two meals in one...Peeling knife and area rugs for her bedroom.Dad got new tees from me..He really didn't need much..

So I hope the year of 2012 will bring us in good health. Until next year..

As soon as I wake up, Will Power helps me get out of bed.



Then I go to see John.



Then Charlie Horse comes along,
& when he's here, he takes up a lot of my time & attention.




When he leaves, Arthur Ritis shows up & stays the rest of the day. He doesn't like to stay in one place very long so he takes me from joint to joint.


After such a busy day, I'm really tired & very glad to go to bed with Ben Gay.

Oh, yes, I'm also flirting with Al Zymer;
Or whatever his name is. I forget!

And I'm thinking of calling JACK DANIELS, JIM BEAM, JOSE CUERVO or JOHNNY WALKER to come over and keep me company.

Now remember: Life is like a roll of toilet paper.....the closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

November? Oh my..

Wow is it November already? Whew! Time did flies.. These flowers were given to my folks back in Sept. We had an "End of the Summer Party" for them. Due to dad who couldn't go out very often and in the winter gets here it will be easier for my folks not to drive in the snow.. So, all of us kids participated on the fun for my parents.

I also want to post it because its Veteran's Day too..

I had a nice summer and enjoyed every bit of it. I went to a local amusement park with my boyfriend and his sister and BIL, along with his daughter. We had been talking since spring.

I had bumped into him at his sisters over Halloween 4 yrs ago. Now he is going through a divorce and I am just talking as a friend. He is a busy person. Hopefully we will date soon. I knew him since grade school and junior high.. That was the last time I have seen him and he had moved away. I will not say much about him.. I am happy that we became friends again. This time we will take it slow. We'll see what will happen.

Okay, I am still with my reading insructor for my reading. She said, that I am doing well in the course.. I haven't been back at my other school since last year in Dec. It is hectate. I am not giving up.. I am a fighter and I will go back eventually.

I became an aunt again this fall. Hard to believe. This time the child is my brother's and his girlfriend's. Gavin is his name. Not only that I became an aunt for the 10th time and 2 great niece and nephew, my niece is expecting in March and that will be the 3 great niece/nephew to be. We are excited about this and this be my niece and nephew in law first child. So happy for them.

Well, I keep you posted now that the weather is getting cooler, I will be blogging again. Sorry that I haven't visited some of you. I do not like the new commenting stuffs. I am having difficulty leaving comments to some of my bloggers. Don't worry, I get it in there somehow.

A little bee popped in say “Hello”.

 

I know, I ‘d been so busy this summer taking care of my folks and enjoying

a beautiful summer. The weather was mostly sunny and warm. I can’t complain.

I have so much too say and I will keep it brief.

These photos were taken on Labor Day this year.

I went to our local marina and walk around. My two sisters and I went for the day.

Well, part of it..LOL. It was a dreary and cold day and the walk was worth it.

At least it is better than sitting home and playing the PC.  LOL

The Baltimore II was here all weekend.

Anyway, I will be joining with Beverly at How the Sweet Sound.

9/11 flowers

We had an " End of Summer Party", yesterday. This was a combination of my mom's 80th birthday- which will be in January and my parents 60th Anniversary that will be end of November. My dad really want to invites his friends and c0-workers to the party. It turned out to be a great day. I thought we we're going to be soaked.. No, I was wrong. I guess my big sister in heaven is holding the rain for mom and dad..
I was really busy taking care of the two of my parents and doing the yard work too. I can't complain and we had a good summer.
I will be back soon..

Snapdragons…Purple, blue and white.

Actually the white is a pale pink. I don’t

Know is this is really a snapdragon or a small

family, I can’t find anything similar to these online.

on my desktop and its look more blue than purple.

I hope everybody is well. I am hanging in there, helping mom

and dad. Got the pool open before Memorial Day and all we got is

rain,, Finally its stop for a few days, Windy  here today and low 70’s.

We hit into the upper 80’s Tues,  Monday was a pleasant day.

My brother and I went to Walmart  picked up some chlorine for the

pool and I found these cute flowering pots.

Of course, I got to buy the matching sets.. Love the view

of the pool in background.

My Irises are up too.

We are in the low 70’s and hopefully the rain will holds off for a few days.

Over the weekend it’ll be back in the low 80’s. Looking forward for warm days.

Happy Easter: Pink Saturday Special

Look I decided to do? Made some clothesline pins for many things. You can use these

for magnet clips or clips for your potatoes chips bags and etc. This is a great project

for teachers and your kids or even grandkids.

I also want to post it for Easter and a very berry Pink Saturday at Beverly’s

at How Sweet the Sounds.

 

I bought these clothesline pins at the Dollar store.

 

Paint them to the color I want.
