Something new..

Over the weekend my folks went to a funeral service for all the firefighter who died in a propane explosion where they worked. My father knew a few of them so they went. I felt so bad that this happened about 25 years ago. I was in high school when this has happened. I know that we're pouring out our sympathy to all those in a line of duties..So, I want to share this with all of you and I'm sure somebody have somebody they deeply cares for. Such as Uncle, Father, Brothers and even Mom ,Sister, and Aunt and as well as friends.Friends of family or family of a friend.

Just to let you know that I change my background and template. This way you can see the blog pictures better. Followers have to signs on the bottom of page for now. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding..

Flowers and etc.

Over the summer my brother, niece and nephew in-law and I went to a concert in late August. He had won tickets for four to see Kenny Chesney and I knew its too good to be true. No, it's wasn't Kenny Chesney it was Mark Chestnutt. Anyway we went and I took some real cool sunset snapshots. Look like its gonna rain,so the picture turns out better than I thought.
I also took some pictures from my backyard. The flowers were beautiful and blooming in the pots. These flowers were wild flowers and they were from my sister memorial that we attended and receives these seed for our planting to remember her by.The pink black eyed susan is from one of my sister's friend's backyard..As you can see the blue flower, the small one really turns out small alright.Look for the bug, it's was an unexpected picture. So in the meantime I like to share them with you. Enjoy!
I'll be off for the next few days for more decorating the house take care.>>HUGS<< NANCY

More snags and lunch

Today me and my folks went to lunch. I had to use the gift certificate from last Christmas. We haven't got a chance since my Dad fell and broke his hip in Feb. So, I'd been planning on it, but time seem to fail at all time. When Summer got here, everyone keeps coming back and use our pool. Since I been planning else fails. D's had her surgery and that the week I was planning but it wasn't her fault that was happening and including my niece's wedding too. So, today we finally went and good thing. Foods was delish! I had a garlic/buttered panini and 4garlic breads,(yum). It wasn't a big meal but just enough to fill me up 'til dinner. Who knows what we'll be eating later. It's started to snow where we ate, soon we head home, the snow stopped.

Christmas decorating

Photobucket

Yesterday we got some Christmas light up and the a lighted wreaths that we put on the front windows. There are three and one is in my bedroom. yeah you heard me. lol. we live in a ranch with an addition over the garage and that suppose to be the parents room along with walk-in closet and bathroom. We live here since last May. So, my folks gave me that room so they don't have to do the stairs.

We will do more decorating during the week or weekend. In the meantime I ran across some pictures for the Holidays, some are original cards and others what I have on the computer. So feel free to snag them if you like. Here are just a few.

song

When I was in 3rd grade my class ans I sang this song
in a play that they called, "Brother-hood", I don't remember the play but sure knew the song, and it was Christmas time. As you can hear or see the music on bottom of the page I had the song in the list.
I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing (In Perfect Harmony)Artists: The New Seekers (peak Billboard position # 7 in 1971-72)Words and Music by Roquel Davis, Roger John Reginald Greenaway, Roger F. Cook, and William M. BackerAdapted from a Coca Cola commercialId

I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing (In Perfect Harmony)

like to build the world a home

And furnish it with love

Grow apple trees and honey bees

and snow-white turtle doves

I'd like to teach the world to sing

In perfect harmony

I'd like to hold it in my arms and keep it company

I'd like to see the world for once

All standing hand in hand

And hear them echo through the hills

"Ah, peace throughout the land"(That's the song I hear)

I'd like to teach the world to sing

(that the world sings today)

In perfect harmony

I'd like to teach the world to singIn perfect harmony

Id like to build the world a home

And furnish it with love

Grow apple trees and honey bees

and snow-white turtle doves
