Hello,
I hope everyone had a delish and joyful Thanksgiving. I sure did. We we're so busy getting it ready and now where so pooped out..LOL. Today, I had a baby shower to go to and it was nice. I haven't seen half the stuffs that mom to be got.. Everybody were chatting away and entertaining themselves. The mom to be wanted Winnie the Pooh theme for baby room. My mom, sisters, niece and myself went in on one big gift. Nearly $200 dollar worth. Its still cost over $30 a piece.

We did get snow here Friday night. It was supposedly a snowstorm and it really wasn't all that bad. I walked to Rite-Aid, our pharmacy and my brother came and picked me up. I turned around and there he stand and asked me if I see outside. No, I didn't. I was just looking around a bit. Well that was it. We went to a nearest food mart and picked up Bologna and made fried bologna for lunch along with soup. YUM!
No! I did not go to "BLack FRiday". are you nut? I did it years ago and didn't like it. I rather go during the week in the afternoon. We are keeping it simple. I did got my great-niece done and got to get her big brother done. Then I'll do my folks.
I am just about tired. UNtil next time...

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving

We will have Thanksgiving here at my parents place. There about a dozen will show up out 30.. Yep, I am from a big family. We hope it will be a nice a quiet one too. My one sister is doing Thanksgiving, but have to work early that day. her husband and sons will do the dinner.

Recently my sister Donna was rushed to the hospital last night. She doing ok and she is hoping she’ll be home tomorrow. Just in time for Thanksgiving. I really didn’t get the full details but she was bleeding very bad. Brother went to the house before the paramedics arrived. I won’t give full details. So, please pray for her.

I AM  Thankful that Donna is okay and for the rest of my family. I am thankful for having them in my life.

Well be off for now. Gonna finish cleaning so I don’t have to do it tomorrow. I want to help my mom and sister bake pie and maybe I’ll do some cookies.

Started my Christmas shopping today. Me, my mom and Donna went shopping yesterday and Continued today. We got a baby shower to go to next Saturday.. We all went in a big gift. The mom to be want Winnie the Pooh theme. I love Winnie the Pooh. How cute. We got the bedding sets and clothings for the baby. I got my great niece done and still need to get the great nephew done. I only buy for the little ones. The older grandkids are working and we don't need to buy them.. Needless to say, there are 9 of them..
I am done for tonight.

I came across a friend’s blog and found out she was using live writer.

I finally found out how to play this thing. I can change fonts and etc. I don’t know this’ll work. I am using Ck Candycorn from creating keepsake that I use for scrapbooking.

 

So I decide to change the font to something else. This Aparajita..

If you read my last entry, this is the crAzy squirrel who was eating my pumpkins. Now, I don’t have one anymore..UGH!

I am finally relieve haha.  SO  It is after 11pm

Vintage postcards Party: Thanksgiving

You can see the above, the year was 1908

I knew I had these postcards laying around somewhere. These were my grandmother's. She saved them for years. I love the old vintage looks. Most of the postcards were giving by my great aunt. She travel a lot in the NY cities. Jamestown, Troy and NYC. Some of the PC were used for regular greeting cards.

I am teaming up with Tete @ Beyond Garden Gate. Here are some of my PostCards that I have. I missed last month so, I put in anyway.

Theme Thursday: sands

I am playing along with Tom at Theme Thursday. Theme for this week is Sand.. I found this sand laying around in a jar in our basement. We used to have a whole bagful from a couple who lives in Washington. The man shoveled this sand off his roof, backyard and driveway. So, we got a little piece of Mt. St. Helen's sand from the volcano that erupted back in 1980. Here is my sand jar.
