Olympics and etc.

Wednesday Evening:
I went downstairs after I signed off the PC and watch the snowboarding event. My belly went up and down like that feeling when you ride the roller coaster and meet the drop and you feel the tickle. Well, that how I felt when Shaun White did that high-jump. Needless to say, I think he did well and after the other competers didn't that when I knew he going to win. I think he was anyway. I got to tell that I never thought I would watch this event. I am mostly the Figures Skating,all categories.Men, women, and pairs.

Have any of you watch The Olympics Coverage?I haven't seen anybody post in a while or they just rambling about their daily lives.LOL
Thursday Evening:
I did watch some events in the afternoon too. I had to watch and see Evan Lysecak( I hope I spelled it right) lol. I sure had a feeling he was going for the gold or he would get silver. PHEW! He did.. I stayed up until 12:13 A.M. UGH! I never stayed up that late since the holidays.Okay, I am trying to catch up and hopefully I will go in on the Blogger's Challenge-TREE..I know I got a lot of autumn photos and I love the winter but since I move toward the city, I don't have no trees. That's okay, I don't want to rake those leaves anymore. I may have to go to a park to take photos. In the meantime,leaves are better.Especially colored♥
I can't believe we're in the middle of February already and it Friday and star our first Friday of Lent.
Mom and Dad are doing good as well as the rest of the family.My youngest niece stopped by today and she stayed and have cheese broccoli soup. YUMMY! It was nice to see her,we haven't seen her since the New Year. She is a busy beaver, school and working at a school.

Misc. Happy St. Valentine's Day♥♥♥

I want say"Happy St. Valentine's Day." to everyone. I hope you all will enjoy your day. I know I will. We are having steak, lobster tail along with vegetables. I can't believe it's here already. Its seems like we just finish Christmas.


The weather here in WNY is still cold. Snow fallen here and there. Just tapering off. I notice some of you had more snow than I did all winter. The only time we had a lot of snow was early mid-January.


In the meantime Mom and Dad are doing good. Dad hasn't fall as much he did after the holidays. That's a good thing. I went back to school this week. Just to let you know that I go to a Free GED program here in NY. I did got my HS diploma, I was in Special Ed class. I did not learned alot of stuffs such as The Civil War, Lewis and Clark Expeditions, Algebra, and Geometry. There are other Arithmetic that I didn't learn. Yes, I am doing good in math but my reading skill is still low. I'm hanging in there.


Now, I'm watching TV and getting ready to watch the Olympics. How did you guys like the Cerenony or did any of you watched? I am off for now and everybody have a good day tomorrow.

My new toy :

As some of you have follow me on FB you know what I am talking about. U got it a laptop! I love it and I can stay in my bedroom and take it in another room in a house. I had been wanting one for a while and here it is. I am online talking and typing my lifa away..LOL.♥ I love this little feature that I found from Guido on FB. I also got a letter monogram from my niece for Christmas along with a velux blanket and a scrapbook. I started that this past week and I got my Letchworth NAtional Park that is in my November 2008 entry. I also put Pesqu Isle photos in there too. I miss scrapbooking, I haven't done any think last spring. When I did my sister benefits party photos. I will keep that one as a separate book from the other photos.
In the meantime, I did have a nice Christmas last year. It went so fast didn't it. I miss posting some cute tags in here and now Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year is coming up. I try not to snag too many tags from Donna or Sugar. They both do nice tags. I do like Missie and CabCreations as well. So, I will post my laptop here and I will keep you all up to date. Got it and I'm back:

Well hello everybody,

Just to say that I am back and feeling better. Now that I got a new toy..Donna and I went to the store and got the laptop that I always wanted. I also had my other sister with us as well. I got so excited that I can't sleep.LOL I guess we all do that. I am a little tired and just so sunny out there and some snow in the forecast. I do need to catch up on some of the bloggers but that'll be a while. My PC is Navy blue and a Gateway window7. I really haven't play with my new pc other stuffs but it will be there when I get to its. So in the meantime I am writing this short and I will keep you all up to date. Take care!

Where did the time go?

I am sitting here at D's house writing this entry. I am going laptop shopping and Donna is taking me. Keeping fingers crossed. I have no clue what to buy or else. I got an add for Bestbuy our local store and they have a Gateway laptop on sale. I don't know if this is what I want and we're going to check it out and see. I do want a bigger GB and hard drives for my photos. I guess our pc is shocked, I guess we'll look one up for Dad too.. I can't stand it anymore. I just don't get it either.

In the meantime everybody is doing fine. I took time off from school to help mom out and dad as well. He is hanging in there. After Christmas he had been falling quite a bit. He haven't done any in a while.
In the meantime I hope I'll get that laptop. I am excited and it will be my belated Christmas/birthday combos. I hope I get too. I think the frustrations will be over too. UGH!
Weather had been so cold here in western NY. last week was in the lower teens and single digits numbers-as well. Now it is a heatwave of 33degrees.(whoo hoo)! We got a lot of snow last week and still on the ground. Icy too!
So, hope everyone we'll do well and keep those fingers cross for me and I will be back before you know it. Take care!

Away for a while...Happy New Year too!

I just want to leave you a little note. I have been having problem with the PC. I am using my sisters today to say "Hell0". I did had a nice New Year and a quiet one too. Christmas was nice as well. One of these days I will get a laptop. Keep fingers cross. Right now I am helping Mom and Dad. As soon as I get one I will be writing again. IN the meantime hang in there and stay warm. What have I been doing?

Oh goodness! Has it been that long since I haven't blog. Not that I really do..LOL. I had been so busy and crazy with my parents and brother. My brothe had surgery a few weeks ago. It was juat one day. He is doing okay, I will post about it another time .IN the meantime, Mom is doing better as well as my Dad himself. I'd been busy with school and now I got to write a book report.
I haven't done a book report in 24 yrs. UGH! Its on the day of history. Nov. 13. There were a several topics and I have to choose one of them. I think I will pick the Holland Tunnel. That is on the Hudson River going into New Jersey. About a fire. I ended looking some informations and I have to read it and do the homework. I will probably do that tomorrow. I don't know I will write it on the same day.So, in the meantime wish my luck..LOL.
I also decided to go back on my power walking from my video and get in another small size. I bought a gorgeous dress for my second cousin's wedding. I love it and its feels so good to be in a dress that i would like. It is black low cut v-neck and a kinda twisted gathering at hip with a stone button. I am so thrilled with and the best part it was on sale for about $45 from a $200 dress. I was amazed. I thought it wiil be about $60 and the final marked down was lower. Lucky me..LOL Got to love those sales.. Now, I got to look for jewelry and a purse to match. Ran out steam that day. Did I tell you that my mom, sisters and I went shopping two weeks ago? It was a blast and went out to TGIFriday's for an appetizer. We were going to have dinner soon we got home but ended up being so full. That why I decided to go on th diet or at least watch what I eat. I really don't diet for that matter.
It was so crazy that I didn't even post something of my sister. Who passed two years ago on the seventh. I didn't mean to do that but since my mom fell everything just went from one things to another. We all do misses her very much and I didn't toallu forgot her because we were thinking about her all the times. LOVE you big sister.

Okay, I think I am going to get off and get some sleep. SO, until next time.

Halloween rainbow

Just before dinner. It was so weird like Halloween itself. It was raining and shining at the same time. I just load some photo on the camera and soon I walk in the living room I notice the sun was still shining. I grab my camera and headed to the door. I saw a huge rainbow. I couldn't get the whole thing in. Anyway I got the split photos. The one with the house and the rainbow over the bedroom.(LOL,SHHHHH! That is my bedroom). I think I got a pot of gold in my room..LOL. As you can see there is a second rainbow in the left of that photo and the colors were vise verse.

My Mom is doing good and even better. She went out for lunch twice this week,actually yesterday and today..Perhap she really needs to get out with friends. My big sister and niece were here this morning to take my brother to the Dr. They went shopping while waiting for him to be done. Yesterday was my eldest niece's birthday and she is 30. I remember being that age..LOL. DO YOU.

I am back and so far behind....

I am back and doing okay. I got a lot to tell. I went to a Halloween party with a friend and her family Friday night. I went as Elvis and she went as Ranassiance Mistress. It was more of a family and friend gathering kind of party. I tell you, there were alot of kids. I wish I got pictures of them but I don't. They were cute too.. One kid went as "Robin" from Batman and Robin. There were two Cheerleaders. Two pricesses, One Transformer, and Tinkerebell. WHoo, what a line up.
I didn't have no internet connecting since Wed or Thurs. Ugh! I hate when that happened and this was the second time that we had to get someone to come and check it out. I got on alright and I asked him what did he do? He showed me what was the problem and next time I will know what to do. Thanks God that we can use the internet again.
Another thing went wrong this week in a half. My mom fell down on the sidewalk pavement last Sunday. It was not a good picture. She was really hurt and a gentleman came out and check on us and see wnat the problem is. He took my mom and brother to the hospital. She had her x-rays and catscan done. They both came back negatives. As some of you follow me on FB, you had been supported. Thank you. Mom is doing good and she is getting around. Last week she couldn't go anywhere without any help. My eldest sister and SIL did some shopping for us.
So, here are some scrapbook layouts and I will post an up close photo of me by the end of the week. Take care for now.

Lunch,shopping,and hanging out:

Today my mom was on the phone with my big sister(The eldest of us five girls). We went out for lunch and Dad came alone too. As we were sitting my oldest niece and nephew in-law showed up at the nick of time as were be seated. So, we end up getting a bigger table. There were six of us. They all had open chicken souvlaki, my NIL and I had something different, I ended having turkey with apple and brie sandwich and he had some kind of sub. I can't remember seeing that on the menu. OH well. We all had a good time and just came home.
Dad needed to sit in a comfortable chair. As we were driving home Mom had to stop at a local dept. store to find a rain coat. I can't believe that we can't find rain coat as much as we did in the past. UGH! I was looking for a regular winter coat that not so bulky. I hate the new styles they're carrying. Ugly and for girls only kind of style. Get real designers. Us older woman don't want to dress like our teenage daughers. Sorry ladies, I know some of you have some. Everything from tight to babydoll and almost semi-nude clothing today. Mom and I agreed on one thing. Got to get away and buy clothes. We usually find some out of town. That what I miss most.
In the meantime everybody is doing good and including Donna herself. I haven't seen her since last Sunday at my siste's place. So, have a good weekend. Off for now.

Today we went to my sister and BIL for dinner. It was delish. Just the family, mostly my sisters and my folks. Not a big gathering. It is Thanksgiving weekend in Canada. Driving me crazy...

The last few days we haven't got any internet connections. I wondered why? I told my Dad that the computer is having problems. HE went on yesterday and couldn't get on either. I told him I think the moderm isn't workin. SO, My folks call the phone company and the guy came in this morning. FInally! We are back online. YAY! I got admit it that I was going through a withdrawal. I could not imagine living without our PC world.LOL.. ANyway my mom and I went grocery shopping with big sis. It was nice to get out of the house. Soon we got out of the store it was raining in the misty kind of way. It was so gloomy looking too. I am glad it was misty than downpoured rain like Cats and Dogs. Now tonight it is raining. At least I got somewhere to go. I am going to keep it simple so everyone have a good weekend.

In my last entry, I couldn't change my header photos. When I went back today, I finally click on the edit and I got what I wanted. I just decided not to use a photo there since I got a new background.
Today we're just hanging out as our typical Sunday. Having roast pork for dinner and Lemon pie. YUMMY! I am so glad we're eating winter type of foods. Hot dogs and hamburgers seems to get a little boring as well as other grill foods.LOL. I guess I will get of the PC and work on some of my homework. Have a great Sunday everybody.

Blogger dashboard driving me crazy.

I set a new background and change my header to be smaller and now I can't resize my header to be a little bit bigger. When I click edit,nothing happening. I check all other gadgets and they are doing just fine. Anyone know what I am doing wrong. I hope the blogger that set this program can fix this. Have a good weekend everyone. I will write soon. Been a while..

Its been a while since I had been blogging. I just playing on Facebook for a while to just to get around on other internet website and playing their games. We got our pool closed Saturday. My nephews came and help my brother. Cheaper than hiring someone. Now the temps really cooling down. Supposed to be in the mid-50's all week. A little too cool. Can't wait to get winter clothes out. I have to go through some of my clothes and see if they fits. Since I had loss the weight, I have to make sure the turtleneck and long sleeves shirts fits. Otherwise I have to get rid of them. I am going to go back on my exercise and see if I can lose another size. Keeping fingers cross.
I got together with my friend Friday for lunch and hangout at her place and stayed for dinner. I told her we need to get together for a quite more often before the weather gets colder and snowed.LOL..
My folks are doing okay.Dad still hanging there. Mom is good herself. I got my grade back from the summer and my math went up..YAY! I still needs to get the reading up.. Still steady though. I am just hanging in there as long as I can. Maybe by Feb of next year it'll get there. I got this far and I am not giving up..Donna is doing good herself, she is going back to work this week. You'll have to drive around in his 2009 Mercedes-Benz CL, and he will supply all of your clothes. Because of the long hours, meals will be provided. You'll also be expected to escort the daughter on her overseas holiday trips. This is rather awkward to say but you will also have, as part of your job > assignment, to satisfy her sexual urges as the daughter is in her mid-20's > and has a rather strong sex drive. A two-bedroom loft type apartment with plasma TV, stereo, bar, etc. > located above the garage, will be designated for your sole use and > the salary is $200,000 a year."

Happy Birthday to big sister and falling:

Tomorrow is my big sister's birthday. Some of you know as Martha K. I also want to let you know if you don't follow me on FB. Donna has fallen down the other day at a benefit party for the local firemen. I don't want to say how exactly she fall. She hurt her shoulder and fallen on her face. It was not exactly a big year for her. So, she goes back to work and now this. I felt so terrible for her.I did seen her tonight with mom and dad. I am sure she'll explain on her blog if she goes on. I don't want to give out to much details.
This week I am going back to school. Weather has been cool and not much to hang out by the pool. MOnday is going to be mid-70's and dropped to the low 70's and upper 60's. I can't complain it is a free class and it's only three days a week. I just want to bring my grade up so I can take the course I want. If not, I will find something else or go back to work. I am not working at the moments and I want to focus on one thing at a time. I do not drive and have seizures. I haven't had any in a while. SO, knock on wood...WHHOOOOO hoooo...I am not going to get to excited about that.
Sat, we are going to my big brother and SIL's house and say goodbye to my nephew who is in the Army. He is heading to OK and then Washington State.He is LT. I won't put to much informations about him. Anyway, I wish him luck.

God/Dog-cute

Keeping it simple:

I know i haven't blog in a while. I have been on Facebook and just learn to get around MySpace. I keep forgetting that I got an account with them. I have a friend who helped me on as well as I did to her on bLogger.
The weather been not so great for a week and a half. Our motor from the filter died and my brother replaced a part and a few days later the pump wouldn't work. So, in the meantime we ended up buying the whole new piece. Instead of gettiing two parts we ended up with the full one. The pool company said, "That they don't make them like that anymore." Anyhow the pool has been green for a week. Then the service guy came last Saturday and hook it up. Now the pool is clean as a whistle. I am so glad that my brother was here. At least he knew what to do. I don't know what if I do without him.(LOL) He does a lot of stuffs around our hose for Mom and Dad. Now, that the pool is set back and normal the weather starting to get warmer. Just in time for Labor Day Weekend. I was hoping the price was good too. Although I forgot, we got two parts in one deal. In the meantime,I have no idea what we are going to do this weekend. I guess it just play by ears and go with the flow.

Kids are back in school at my old neighborhood. It is odd. Very seldoms that the kids goes back to school before Labor Day. They usually starts the week of or the following. Good point though. I don't start back until the 9th.I think I'll go the following week instead. The class i am going to is a free Adult Education course for GED. I know I have my High School diploma, but my grades were low and since then I was in Special Ed because of my hearing. I am doing good at Math, but the reading that I am low at. Keep fingers crossed because I am not staying after this year. I got go back to work myself eventually.
